Job summary

K&A Power Group in New York seeks a Field Construction Coordinator to join our energy projects across Geneva, Hornell, Fillmore and Mechanicville. You will lead field operations, monitor safety, manage contractor performance, and ensure aligns with project plans and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electric utility construction, strong MS Excel skills, familiarity with GPS tooling, and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive electric utility construction experience preferred.
• Two years of college preferred.
• Experience in distribution/transmission projects is desirable.
• MS Excel proficiency required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support and proactive problem resolution.
• Attend and summarize safety, environment and quality meetings.
• Monitor schedule with look-ahead and PM comparisons.
• Coordinate material delivery between customer stockroom and contractor.
• Inspect workmanship and enforce specifications and schedules.
• Communicate progress and issues to the Project Manager.
