FieldAI in Irvine, CA is seeking a Network Solution Engineer to own the connectivity backbone for field robots, from Wi‑Fi to customer private networks. You’ll bring up field routers, troubleshoot coverage on-site, and collaborate with customer IT to admit robots onto networks.

This role blends networking, field operations, and customer enablement. You’ll build monitoring, surface fleet health, turn field learnings into playbooks, and help ensure mission readiness across deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong networking fundamentals across Wi‑Fi bands/channels/DFS and roaming.
• Practical Wi‑Fi coverage sense and AP placement awareness.
• 2–3 years in field deployment, systems integration, network operations, or IT/NOC.
• Troubleshooting across software, hardware, and networking layers with proper attribution.
• Comfortable on Linux/SSH; scripting (Python/Bash) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end connectivity for deployments (Wi‑Fi, cellular, routers, and private networks).
• Bring up, configure, test, and recover field routers to keep robots online and mission-ready.
• Partner with customer site IT on access-point placement, coverage, and network admission.
• Stand up monitoring and diagnostics surfacing fleet connectivity health.
