Job summary

Urban Oil & Gas Group, LLC is seeking a Compressor Mechanic to ensure safe, reliable operation and maintenance of gas compressors and related production equipment in the Price, Utah area. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on compressor packages, engines, drivers, coolers, valves, piping, and lubrication systems, working with operators and field teams to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, mechanically skilled, and able to work

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical training or certification in mechanics preferred.
3–8 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance/repair experience in oil & gas or related field.
Experience with rotating equipment, gas compressors, engines, pumps preferred.
Ability to work independently in remote field locations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on gas compressors, engines, drivers, coolers, valves, piping, lubrication systems, and related production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical failures and identify practical repair solutions that restore equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, leaks, heat, wear, corrosion, and other conditions affecting performance.
Repair or replace belts, bearings, seals, hoses, filters, gaskets, and other components as needed.
Coordinate work activities with operations, measurement, I&E, contractors, and vendors as needed.
