Cooper Machinery Services is seeking a Lease Compression Technician II to own preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues on natural gas compressor packages, and support field operations.

You will work independently at customer sites, document service activities, and communicate recommendations. Must have 2–4 years hands-on gas compression experience and a valid driver's license; CDL-A preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of direct hands-on experience with natural gas compression equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing engines and compressors.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve moderate equipment issues on natural gas compressor packages at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and inspections on engines and compressors in field and shop environments.
• Monitor compressor performance and generate reports for optimal operation.
• Assist with frame and engine swings and other maintenance activities as required.
• Serve as on-site point of contact, communicate status and recommendations to customers.
