Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC is seeking a Compression Mechanical Tech 1 to support field operations in Colorado. This hands-on role involves maintaining rotating equipment such as water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors, on outdoor sites.

You will perform weekly checks, monitor oil levels, temperatures, vibration, inspect leaks, manage maintenance scheduling, track inventory of spare parts, and lead on-site contractors while upholding strict safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on, outdoor field role requiring safety-minded approach.
• Detail-oriented with ability to learn new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly performance checks on equipment and monitor oil levels, temperatures and vibration readings.
• Inspect for leaks on mechanical seals and ensure site cleanliness and organization for peak performance.
• Manage maintenance scheduling and tracking to keep assets reliable and compliant.
• Lead on-site contractors when needed and maintain an accurate spare parts inventory while adhering to safety rules.
