Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC is seeking a Compression Mechanical Tech 1 to support field operations in Colorado. This hands-on role involves maintaining rotating equipment such as water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors, on outdoor sites.

You will perform weekly checks, monitor oil levels, temperatures, vibration, inspect leaks, manage maintenance scheduling, track inventory of spare parts, and lead on-site contractors while upholding strict safety

Responsibilities

Flywheel Energy is looking for a Compression Mechanical Tech 1 to join our field operations team. In this role, you’ll support daily production operations by maintaining essential rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors.

• This role works closely with field operations and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production across assigned assets. This is a hands-on, outdoor field role suited to someone who’s detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable learning new equipment and responsibilities on the go

Job Duties

The task will include weekly performance checks, monitoring oil levels, temperatures, vibration readings, and inspecting leaks on mechanical seals. This position will be required to keep the equipment / the sites clean, organized, and running at peak performance. It is a requirement to manage maintenance scheduling and tracking. As well as maintaining an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies, and lead contractors on-site when needed. All work must be performed with a top level of accuracy and attention to detail around safety. This position must comply with all company, state, and federal regulations to stay within legal compliance.
