Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a Commissioning Technician in Missouri to support startup, commissioning, and ongoing performance of process equipment and automated systems. This hands-on role provides electro-mechanical and automation support at CSI customer facilities and performs factory acceptance testing (FAT).

The successful candidate will troubleshoot mechanical systems and electrical circuits, train customers on system operation, and respond to support requests, including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Associate degree in Electromechanical or Mechatronic Technology, or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, required.
• 4+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with 480VAC/3/60, 120VAC/1/60, and 24VDC power.

Responsibilities

• Start up, commission, and provide sustaining support for automated process equipment and systems at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical circuits, instrumentation, and automation controls during startup and early production.
• Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) at CSI, including electrical and mechanical equipment hook-up in accordance with safety requirements.
• Train customers on proper system operation and maintenance, respond to support requests, and provide after-hours assistance when systems are coming online.
