A leading company specialized in mission-critical equipment seeks a Field Commissioning Technician. This role requires 75% travel and involves testing, start-up, and commissioning of electrical systems like switchgear and UPS. Field Commissioning Technician - Switchgear / UPS / ATS / PDU / Mission Critical Equipment
75% travel is required.
Candidate should be familiar with the testing, start up and commissioning of the following low and medium voltage electrical systems and mission critical / critical infrastructure equipment: Switchgear, Electrical equipment associated with mission critical, Woodward & similar generator controls, Transfer Switches, Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRACs), DC plants, Power Distribution Units (PDU), Battery Cabinets, power metering, PLC's and other critical equipment.

**Key Qualifications:**
-Equipment testing of switchgear, UPSs, ATSs, Battery Cabinets, PDUs, generators
- Perform start ups, inspection, commissioning on switchgear, generator controls, ATSs, UPSs, CRACs, DC plants, and other critical equipment.
- Experience with LV/MV circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, PT's, CT’s, load banks, and generators.
- Conduct onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for equipment.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant Integrated Systems Testing (IST) experience.
- Experience working in mission critical power requirements and turnkey solutions.
- Solid experience in project management and related testing procedures.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate equipment delivery and onsite activities efficiently.
- Ability to conduct onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for electrical gear.
- Competence in reviewing electrical plans and creating solutions for potential risks.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with various departments.
- Capable of lifting materials up to 50 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel as needed.
- Able to pass a criminal background, DMV, and credit check.
