Job summary

Carrier Corporation is seeking a Commercial HVAC Apprentice Service Technician to join our field team. You will work outside a desk, diagnosing issues, repairing units, and ensuring system reliability across sites in the Dallas–Austin corridor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• 1+ year of practical HVAC/R experience or education.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and access rooftops if needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems for efficient operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment and controls.
• Service refrigeration equipment including ice machines and units.
• Maintain chilled and hot water systems and ductwork.
• Ensure compliance with city/state/EPA regulations and keep records.
• Collaborate with management to uphold safety and standards.
