Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Texas is seeking a skilled Code Inspector to perform trade-specific inspections on commercial buildings, with travel within the assigned area.

You will conduct residential inspections as well, prepare written and electronic reports, explain codes, resolve problems, and support business development while delivering excellent client service. Must hold ICC certifications and Texas Plumbing Inspector license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher; 2+ years field inspection experience on construction projects
• ICC Commercial/Residential certifications/licenses (multi-discipline) as required
• State of Texas Plumbing Inspector license
• Experience in QA/QC and managing projects
• Current valid driver license
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct trade-specific inspections on commercial buildings as well as manage related projects
• Conduct trade-specific inspections on residential buildings as well as manage related projects
• Prepare written and electronic reports and issue notices of correction
• Explain and interpret code and quality control regulations or requirements
• Recognize, evaluate and resolve unique problems or situations
• Maintain effective customer service relationships with clients and the public
• Assist inspection management with business development
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager
