Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a field service technician in Ohio to perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, provide on-site customer support, and deliver training.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds and travel across the country, with scheduling coordinated by our PM group. The successful candidate will have a two-year technical degree or equivalent, experience with electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service on-site.
• Communicate professionally, review safety evaluations and maintenance checklists.
• Provide on-site training to customers for operation and maintenance of machines.
