Job summary

MSI Viking is seeking a skilled CMM Field Service Technician to service and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines at customer sites. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair CMMs, covering mechanical, electrical, and software aspects to ensure accuracy and reliability.

The role requires meticulous, self-starting professionals with a focus on quality and timeliness. Expect up to 80% travel, including overnights, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with current insurance.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and stay overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain CMMs at customer sites.
• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair CMMs including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Prepare units for move and perform preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to ISO standards and ensure high quality deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
