Field Clinical Specialist- Shockwave (Fort Myers/Naples, FL)

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist for Shockwave Medical Inc. in Fort Myers/Naples, FL.

Our company is dedicated to healthcare innovation, developing smarter, less invasive, and personalized treatments. We are at the forefront of developing intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) technology to treat calcified cardiovascular disease, aiming to set new standards in medical care.

Position Overview

The Field Clinical Specialist will support physicians during procedures involving Shockwave's IVL technology, providing case support, training, and data collection for clinical studies. The role may require travel and support across different territories.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Train physicians and hospital staff on device use and provide procedural case coverage.
  2. Support clinical studies through training, data collection, and relationship management with investigators.
  3. Coordinate with research teams for site re-training, data management, and issue resolution.
  4. Manage administrative tasks including travel, budgeting, and compliance activities.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, nursing, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years supporting interventional or surgical procedures in a hospital setting, or 1 year of industry sales support experience; cardiovascular experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (>50%) and lift objects up to 40 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $100,000 plus a competitive incentive program, car allowance, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
