Position OverviewAs aField Clinical Specialist (FCS), you’ll be at the intersection of sales support, clinical education, and customer success. This is anideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of medical sales experience—especially those familiar with the OR environment—looking to break into a clinical-facing roleat a mission-driven startup.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, with support from the Area Sales Director, you’ll help drive successful technology adoption by training surgical teams, providing case coverage, and enabling high-value clinical use.
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, confident in the OR, and motivated by a collaborative, high-growth culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support & Integration
Support product training and onboarding for surgical and pathology teams
Provide in-field procedural support and guidance during live cases
Assist with OR setup and ensure optimal workflow integration
Be a reliable resource for clinical teams, offering on-the-ground troubleshooting and insights
Sales Support & Account Development
Collaborate with the sales team to drive technology adoption and utilization
Help identify clinical champions and engage key stakeholders in new accounts
Assist in developing account-specific usage strategies to maximize impact
Education & Customer Engagement
Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, pathologists, and other end users
Deliver formal and informal training sessions—both on-site and virtually
Represent the company at clinical workshops, regional events, and conferences
Market Insights & Feedback
Capture and relay real-time feedback from the field to sales, marketing, and product teams
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing user trends, needs, and best practices
Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, procedural support, and travel
Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulatory standards, and documentation
Support team operations and special projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
1–2 years in medical sales, clinical support, or healthcare services—OR exposure preferred
Comfort working in operating rooms and high-acuity environments
Excellent communication skills; ability to teach, guide, and build rapport with clinical teams
Highly organized, self-directed, and adaptable to changing priorities
Willingness to travel up to 80%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting surgical teams, especially in oncology, pathology, or diagnostics
Background in device sales, clinical case coverage, or OR-based product support
Familiarity with startup or early-stage environments
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product
