Field Claims Specialist II, Property (Boise, ID)-$2500 Sign on Bonus

Join Nationwide as a Field Claims Specialist II, Property (Boise, ID) and receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus. This role involves investigating and resolving property damage claims, with a focus on excellent customer service and thorough inspections.

About the Role

Located in Boise, ID, this work-from-home position requires 3-4 days of travel weekly to policy sites using a company vehicle. The role includes onsite and virtual inspections, with potential support for additional territories in a desk adjuster capacity. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates outside the territory.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of insurance claims handling or adjusting experience
• Proficiency with Xactimate
• Experience writing estimates and managing claims from start to finish
• Construction background (residential, roofing, remodeling, water mitigation, etc.)
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Handle claims efficiently, making decisions within delegated authority
• Determine policy coverages and apply claims practices
• Maintain knowledge of insurance policies, laws, and local repair procedures
• Partner with SIU and Subrogation teams to identify fraud and subrogation opportunities
• Provide outstanding customer service and professional conduct
