Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated field claims professional to manage the life-cycle of property and casualty claims in the assigned territory. The role includes investigations, evaluations, and claim resolution with service to agents and insureds.

After initial in-person training, this position offers merit-based work-from-home flexibility, potentially up to five days per week. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or direct equivalent experience handling property and casualty claims.
• Minimum 3 years handling multi-line property and casualty claims with emphasis on property.
• Field claims handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Xactimate software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate loss, and analyze liability.
• Handle multi-line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory, emphasizing property.
• Provide service to agents and insureds to ensure timely, accurate claim resolution.

This job handles insurance claims in the field under general supervision through the life-cycle of a claim including but not limited to: investigation, evaluation, and claim resolution. This job provides service to agents, insureds, and others to ensure claims resolve accurately and timely.
