Job summary

CORRE, INC. in Wisconsin is seeking a mid-level Construction Inspector to lead on-site inspections of WisDOT and client highway/bridge projects, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

The role also covers design support using Autodesk Civil 3D, coordination with DOT staff, municipalities, and project teams, and providing day-to-day project and staff guidance to maintain quality and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a four-year technical degree in a civil engineering related field or comparable education with relatable experience.
• Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures. (preferred)
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and on-site inspection and documentation of WisDOT or other client highway and bridge construction projects.
• Verify contractor compliance with WisDOT standards, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with WisDOT, municipalities, and project team members to resolve field issues.
• Use Autodesk Civil 3D to prepare plan sheets, revisions, and technical exhibits for WisDOT projects.
• Assist with roadway and structure design tasks as needed.
• Lead or provide day-to-day support to project managers and engineers across multiple projects.
