Job summary

Halcyon is seeking a Field Chief Information Security Officer to serve as a trusted security advisor to prospects, customers and partners. This executive role bridges security leadership with go-to-market strategy.

You will lead security-focused meetings, architecture reviews and executive briefings, and collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering and Customer Success to accelerate deals. The position is remote-native in a distributed global team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity or technology leadership with prior CISO experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security domains: cloud, identity, risk, compliance.
• Proven ability to communicate complex security topics to executive audiences.
• Experience in high-trust, customer-facing roles within fast-paced environments.
• Background in B2B SaaS or security vendors (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive GTM revenue enablement and accelerate deals with Sales, Solutions Engineering and Customer Success.
• Serve as the executive security voice in late-stage sales cycles, board-level discussions and engagements.
• Lead security-focused meetings, architecture reviews, risk assessments and executive briefings.
• Navigate complex buyer dynamics among CISOs, CIOs, risk, legal and compliance stakeholders.

This role bridges security leadership and go-to-market strategy, helping accelerate revenue and strengthen market credibility by translating complex security challenges into clear business outcomes.Unlike an internal CISO, this position does not manage internal security operations. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offers, and equity awards.In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
