Job Title: Field Chemist / Environmental Technician
Location: New Hampshire, Manchester
Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Chemist to support hazardous waste management operations across client sites in New Hampshire. This role involves hands‑on field work, regulatory compliance, and direct interaction with hazardous materials in laboratory, healthcare, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lab packing, hazardous waste identification, segregation, packaging, and labeling
- Complete DOT‑related functions including preparation of hazardous waste manifests
- Manage waste collection and storage in Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAA) and Central Storage (CS) areas
- Ensure compliance with DOT, RCRA, OSHA, and client‑specific regulations
- Follow all company and client site safety protocols and directives
- Maintain accurate documentation and strong attention to detail
- Represent the company professionally through clear verbal and written communication
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of prior relevant experience as a Field Chemist or in hazardous waste operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Natural Science preferred (equivalent field experience will be considered)
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)) required
- Previous experience with lab packs, DOT regulations, and hazardous waste manifesting
- Experience working in laboratory or healthcare environments with knowledge of lab safety and hazard communication standards
- Ability to pass a background check, DOT/medical physical, and pre‑employment drug screening
- Ability to lift, handle, and move drums weighing approximately 250–450 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely
