Job summary

Halifax Health ExpressCare is seeking a Field Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and light housekeeping for hospice patients across varied settings in Florida. The role requires a current Florida CNA certification and a valid driver's license to travel to assigned locations.

The CNA will support the Interdisciplinary Team, communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinicians, and maintain high standards of patient care amid a dynamic home-care environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Florida CNA certification must be current/active.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; personal car in good working order.
• Able to work well with Interdisciplinary Team Members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills to maintain positive, professional relationships.
• Ability to cope with high stress levels related to terminally ill patients/families and be flexible with changing assignments.

Responsibilities
