Job summary

Wright-Ryan Construction, Inc. is seeking a Field Carpenter to perform framing, door and window installation, trim, siding, and cabinetry on residential and commercial projects.

Under supervision, you will work at job sites with a wide range of materials and fasteners, using many tools with a strong focus on craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has solid carpentry experience, reads construction plans, and can work independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in general carpentry (frame to finish).
• Ability to read construction plans and drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install framing, walls, floors, and ceilings for buildings and structures.
• Install windows, doors, trim, siding, and cabinetry.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
• Use power and hand tools to complete carpentry tasks with precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite while following all safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other team members.
• Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
