Job summary

Accredited Labs in Frederick, MD is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our on-site team. You will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments at client sites, in our Frederick office, and at customer locations as needed.

You will maintain calibration records, communicate with clients during the process, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to a culture of quality and professional development.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations with frequent overnight travel, up to 80% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites.
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with clients throughout the calibration process and provide status updates.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation with accurate data.
