Job summary

Kensington360 is seeking a Calibration Technician to ensure precision measurement equipment operates to the highest standards. You will work hands-on with calibration, adjustment, and basic repair of precision devices, collaborating with customers to understand needs and resolve issues.

You will travel 25-40% to customer sites, perform troubleshooting, and maintain equipment performance while upholding strong customer service and professional representation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of calibration experience.
  • Willingness to travel 25-40% to customer sites.
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement and calibration principles.

About the Role

You'll work directly with customers, troubleshoot precision equipment, travel to different sites, and use your expertise to keep critical measurement equipment performing to the highest standards. As a Calibration Technician, you'll have a hands‑on role with plenty of variety.

Responsibilities
  • Calibration, adjustment, and basic repair of precision test equipment, with a strong focus on mechanical and dimensional measurement.
  • Visit customer sites, build relationships, solve technical problems, and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a calibration role.
  • A strong understanding of precision measurement and calibration principles.
  • The ability and willingness to travel 25-40%.
Required Skills
  • Pressure, torque, thermodynamics, weight/force and dimensional measurement.
  • ULMs, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks and height/distance gages.
  • Optical comparators and CMMs.
  • Electrical or electronic calibration.
  • Evaluating gage tolerances and working with different measurement methods.
  • Gage management software and ISO 17025 standards.
Preferred Skills
  • Accurate, because in calibration, details matter.
  • Mechanically astute and naturally good at troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and your own time.
  • Customer-focused, friendly and professional.
  • Curious and adaptable when faced with unfamiliar equipment or measurement challenges.
  • Someone who takes pride in producing work you can stand behind.
Pay range and compensation package

$28.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience and expertise. Plus a benefits package that includes:
