Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions is seeking a Boiler Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, start-ups, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light commercial to industrial hydronic systems.

You will work in the field across multiple sites within the Southeast, building strong customer relationships, documenting service actions, and ensuring safe, high-quality service while representing HMS in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning preferred.
• Computers and MS Office proficiency preferred.
• Boiler, water heater, and pump repair/service experience preferred.
• Must pass background, DMV, and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, start-ups, warranty service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on boilers and hydronic systems.
• Provide customer-facing technical work in commercial/industrial environments and document service actions.
• Build strong customer relationships and communicate needs and service modifications clearly.
• Maintain service files, route planning, and inventory awareness.
• Ensure safety and high-quality field service practices.
