Qualifications

• Two years of boiler and machinery industry experience or related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must obtain Inservice Commission within six months of employment.
• Must have or attain appropriate state-specific certifications, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct boiler and pressure vessel inspections per jurisdictional rules, identify hazards, apply codes and standards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain a field presence with 20%–50% on-site time; travel as needed including overnight trips.
• Manage inspection workload in territory with limited supervision; prioritize and schedule work.
• Evaluate exposures, develop loss estimates, and communicate findings to underwriting/claims.
• Document, report, and investigate as required; support risk control objectives.
