Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Health Screener to provide on-site field coverage for biometric screenings. You will perform finger-stick blood collection, measure BMI and blood pressure, and ensure accurate data collection at client sites.

As an independent contractor (1099) with potential conversion to a W2 per diem, you will follow HIPAA and OSHA standards, maintain records, and deliver excellent customer service while traveling to events as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Ability to lift light to moderate loads (1–15 lb frequently; 16–40 lb occasionally).
• Strong reading and following of detailed procedures; attention to accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screenings at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, and blood pressure.
• Carry out basic waived testing procedures and ensure quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintain accurate, legible records for events.
• Participate in training and continuing education programs as necessary.
• Comply with safety policies and use protective equipment to prevent exposure to potential hazards.
• Understand and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable laws; maintain QA standards.
• Travel to events as required.
