Job summary

ERM is seeking Field Biologists to conduct pre-construction surveys for special status species in Riverside County, CA. The role is in-person in Irvine and surrounding areas, with a 6‑month term and potential extension. Flexibility for weekends and travel is required, and accuracy in reporting is essential.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Biology and familiarity with bird survey protocols. Driver's license and ability to work outdoors are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology or related discipline preferred.
• Familiarity with nesting bird survey protocols and/or general bird identification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-construction special status species surveys across the project area.
• Work locations are remote and require independent work.
• Electronic data collection and daily reporting.
