Job summary

Contactless-Holdings in Danville, VA is seeking a hands-on Bicycle Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs across our bikeshare and kayak programs. You will help keep the fleet safe, reliable, and ready to ride, with opportunities to assist inventory and possibly kayak repairs.

Qualifications

• Basic set of bike tools and hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to lift and transport 50-pound bikes.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong communication and independent decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly, quality control, and deployment of bicycles as they are built, tuned, and prepared for riders
• Perform routine maintenance and on-demand repairs across the fleet
• Rebalance the fleet to ensure bikes are available where riders need them most
• Maintain a strong sense of ownership over the fleet and the condition of each bike
