Job summary

You will assess and manage patients with chronic wounds in homes and post-acute settings, with structured training provided to build wound-care expertise.

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA license in NC.
• Able to practice independently and make clinical decisions.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with medically complex adult patients preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel locally.
• Eager to learn wound-care specialty.
• Coachable, dependable, organized, high-quality patient care.
• Wound-care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with chronic and complex wounds.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
• Write orders and make independent clinical decisions.
• Communicate with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage medically complex patients and factors affecting healing.
• Participate in ongoing clinical education and reviews.
• Travel locally to patient homes and facilities.
