Qualifications

• Two years college education with emphasis in business or public administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage field office operations and oversee claims and origination of appeals.
• Advocate for veterans, retirees, spouses and dependents on eligible benefits.
• Liaise with county, state and federal agencies to establish entitlements.
• Represent the department at community events and explain VA functions.
• Train or assist in training new Veterans Service Officers.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope above.
