Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Manager, Texas Child Care Licensing & Compliance to support childcare centers across Texas with licensing compliance, inspection readiness, and regulatory risk management.

This field-based role will act as SME on Texas licensing requirements and HHSC standards, partnering with Center Directors to identify compliance risks and strengthen practices across multiple locations.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Texas childcare licensing, regulatory compliance, or multi-site childcare operations.
Knowledge of HHSC Child Care Regulation requirements and minimum standards.
Ability to interpret regulations and translate into practical guidance for center teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME on Texas childcare licensing requirements and standards.
Monitor regulatory changes and translate requirements into guidance for centers.
Support licensing applications, renewals, amendments, and required documentation.
Coach directors and leaders on regulatory expectations and inspection readiness.
Travel regularly ~80% across assigned markets.
