Job summary

Precision Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electric in Louisville, CO is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, provide clear information to customers, and work independently with mentorship responsibilities for apprentices and technicians.

Training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist. Field-based role with daily travel to residential sites; paid training and licensing support are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Plumbing trade school or technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of plumbing service experience preferred.
• Journeyman plumbing license or state-required certification strongly preferred (may vary by location).
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, diagnostics, and repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, pipe repairs, and water heater installations.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance, testing water pressure, drainage, and system performance.
• Document work performed, materials used, and recommendations, and ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
• Provide clear, professional communication to customers about diagnoses, repairs, and options, educating them on preventive maintenance and upgrade opportunities.
• Collect payments and maintain your truck inventory.
• Collaborate with dispatch, service managers, and team members, supporting the training and mentoring of apprentices and technicians.
