Job summary

The People Concern in Woodland Hills/Van Nuys, CA, invites applications for a HSSP Clinician to join a 100% onsite team. You will provide psychotherapy with adults who have SMI/SED in offices, homes, or the field as part of a multidisciplinary group focused on housing stability and community integration.

Engage members, coordinate mental health and recovery services, and deliver direct therapy and case management within a collaborative program to promote recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited university.
• Valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences licensure.
• Valid California Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Able to transport members in your personal vehicle.
• Strong clinical and team-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and implement mental health and recovery services for individual members.
• Conduct individual, family and group psychotherapy.
• Develop effective, trusting relationships with members to support independence and health.
• Collaborate with each member to develop and update their service plan.
• Assist management and other clinicians with program evaluation and future improvements.
• Assist members with daily activities, socialization, health maintenance, and recovery progress.
• Work with the HSSP team and participate in weekly staff meetings, supervision, and trainings.
• Maintain complete, accurate member files with funder-required documents.
• Assist in crisis interventions and on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
