Engle Martin is seeking a Marine Surveyor in Norfolk, VA to lead loss-control surveys and assess ocean marine claims across multiple classes. You will supervise survey work, coordinate with clients, and ensure timely reporting while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with SLAs.

Your role requires travel, strong investigative skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. A maritime background and applicable licensure support success in this field.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of prior ocean marine surveying or related marine insurance experience.
• Merchant marine licensure is preferred or required where applicable.

• Independently completes survey assignments within the normal scope of operations.
• Develops familiarity with marine claims handling and accepts a limited caseload as assigned.
• Communicates with internal and external parties to schedule surveys.
• Conducts surveys with travel and potential overnight stays.
