Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Inventory Analyst for the New York City area. You will manage inventory across hospital locations, perform cycle counts, and collaborate with materials management to ensure product availability for procedures and patient care.

Frequent travel within the territory is required, and a valid driver’s license is essential. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling discrepancies, and leveraging ERP systems to optimize replenishment and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining inventory records, performing audits or cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Experience using ERP or related systems to manage inventory transactions and reporting.
• Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory and work onsite at customer locations.
• For degrees earned outside the U.S., ensure they meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels across assigned customer locations to ensure product availability and continuity of supply.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments while maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory usage trends and develop replenishment recommendations.
• Maintain established inventory par levels and organize storage locations with multiple SKUs.
• Identify and communicate shortages, backorders, and risks; recommend alternatives.
