Job summary

Viaero Fiber is seeking a Construction Supervisor who will report to the Construction Manager and oversee project work across Central to Western Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. You will manage field teams, review contracts, and ensure timely, on-budget installations.

The role requires 3+ years in construction management or related engineering, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel, including overnight trips. DOT drug testing and background checks apply. Fort Morgan, CO area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction management, electrical engineering, or civil engineering.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications construction, project budgeting, scheduling, and field operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends when required.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including criminal background, motor vehicle record and drug test (DOT guidelines).

Responsibilities

• Oversee project design and field supervision for long-haul and metro networks.
• Review scopes, permits, contracts, and requirements for each project.
• Create and manage design work plans, schedules, budgets, and bid documents; handle materials and shipments.
• Coordinate field production reports and contractor invoicing.
• Travel to field sites and supervise field staff; frequent overnight travel.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, quality installations.
• Interpret project specifications and communicate requirements to staff.
• Represent Viaero and liaise with customers and stakeholders.
