Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Tyler, Texas is seeking an Environmental Scientist / Stormwater Inspector to contribute to environmental compliance and water resources projects under the guidance of senior scientists.

You will assist with environmental permits and NEPA work, help collect natural resource data in the field, and collaborate with a team of employee-owners committed to impactful projects. This is a full-time role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or closely related field.
• Knowledge of wetland delineation, field investigation techniques, and agency coordination requirements.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• MS Office experience.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Work on environmental compliance and natural resources projects related to water resources, transportation, and development.
• Assist supervision with environmental permits, NEPA documentation, and related compliance.
• Assist field work collecting natural resource data.
• Perform other duties as needed
