Job summary

HDR is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join the Fort Worth team, contributing to power infrastructure projects with robust environmental solutions. You will collect data, manage analyses, and prepare guidance across wetlands, land use, and related areas.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related field, 5 years of experience, and strong writing and communication skills. You may work independently on medium-size projects or with senior scientists within HDR's

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Environmental Science or closely related field.
5 years of technical and/or field experience preparing environmental documents.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).
Strong environmental writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Collect project-related data and conduct surveys for environmental projects.
Assist in preparation for and participation in public information meetings and hearings.
Define level of environmental analysis required and conduct impact assessments.
Prepare constraints mapping and assist in permit coordination and compliance.
Work independently on medium-size projects or with senior scientists on larger projects.
