Job summary

NatureBridge seeks an Environmental Science Educator to lead multi-day programs outdoors, engaging students in hands-on science and community learning. You will tailor activities to student needs, emphasize inclusivity and safety, and collaborate with staff across teams.

Regular evenings and events may be required; housing may be provided, and the role includes meeting documentation, fundraising support, and ongoing professional development within a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching experience, formal or informal.
• Commitment to equity and inclusive teaching practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, colleagues and partners.
• Wilderness First Responder Certification or willingness to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-day, student-centered environmental science programs outdoors.
• Facilitate inclusive, culturally relevant instruction for diverse groups.
• Engage students in scientific practices with hands-on investigations.
• Follow risk management policies and document first aid when needed.
