Job summary

NEW Solutions is seeking a Program Support Technician to assist NRCS programs under the ACES initiative. The Enrollee will provide direct support to farmers and landowners, enabling the implementation of conservation practices on the ground.

This role contributes to NRCS's mission by enhancing capacity in field offices and ensuring timely assistance to producers. This non-federal, at-will position is designed to free NRCS staff for emergencies and high-priority responses, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in engineering practices with soil conservation.
• Current and valid State driver's license.
• Experience in Windows, MS Word, MS Excel.
• Survey equipment, RUSLE 2, Conservation Desktop, CART.

Responsibilities

• Support EQIP, WRP, and CSP programs; provide conservation assistance and data analysis.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with NRCS personnel and partners.
• Assist with contracts and program support activities; training staff.
