Job summary

ERM in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Air Quality Compliance and Data Manager to join on-site at a client facility for a 12-month, full-time assignment. The incumbent will secure permits, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage air quality data across multiple sites.

Strong written and verbal communication, data management skills, and the ability to coordinate with agencies are essential. The role requires experience with air quality permits, the ability to train staff, and working in Alaska.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with air quality permitting and compliance, preferably in Alaska.
• Experience with oil & gas exploration and production, preferably in Alaska.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, agency personnel, and the public.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn other IT tools quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple, diverse tasks under pressure.
• Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel or fly to remote sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage activities at multiple facilities to secure Air Quality permits and authorizations.
• Maintain compliance with air quality statutes, regulations, and other requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans for permitting and compliance.
• Coordinate permitting and compliance with internal clients and environmental specialists.
• Serve as liaison to government agencies regulating air quality.
• Train personnel in air quality requirements and procedures.
• Collect, review, and input Air Quality data into data management systems.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual Air Quality reports.
