Job summary

Jobot is seeking a controls specialist to perform maintenance, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls. The role is field-heavy (about 80% travel) and includes a company vehicle for sites across the Tampa area.

You will work on start-up, testing, and diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium retrofit projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls at customer sites.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on control systems.
• Diagnostics and system checks from controllers to end devices for small to mid-size projects.
• Operate with a company vehicle and maintain site safety protocols.
