Job summary

Keystone Clearwater Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Field Automation Technician II or II - Electrical & Controls for oil & gas operations, based in Wellsboro, PA.

You will support automated water transfer systems, install sensors, troubleshoot electronics, configure devices, and perform field and shop repairs under supervision of the Manager of Automated Operations. Role involves regional travel, 12-hour shifts, and safety-compliant work at remote sites and in the Triadelphia, WV automation shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of oil & gas or relevant industrial experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
• Positive, safety-first mindset with a desire to grow and learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rig down automation equipment on site.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on sensors, valves, and controls.
• Use hand tools, diagnostic gear, and software to configure and test systems.
• Respond to field service calls and troubleshoot real-time issues.
• Interact with clients and represent the company professionally onsite.
• Complete daily reporting and safety documentation.
• Travel regionally, often to remote locations, with occasional overnight stays.
• Adhere to all SOPs, safety standards, and training requirements.
