Job summary

Adacel is seeking an Instructor II (Field) to conduct and deliver classroom courses at FAA field sites in the St. Charles, MO area.

The role involves teaching multiple courses, conducting simulation training, and contributing to Instructional Systems Design projects for ATC training courses and scenarios. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of Certified Professional Controller experience or recent FAA contract instructing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of Certified Professional Controller experience or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility.
• Recent experience must have been at the same type and same level of Air Traffic Control facility.
• Must be able to obtain ATC Simulator Certification for facility requesting training support.
• Must be able to pass Government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and administers various classroom courses conducted at FAA’s Field sites.
• Teaches multiple courses and conducts simulation training.
• Participates in Instructional Systems Design projects, to include the development, revision, and maintenance of ATC Training Courses, and Scenario Development.
