Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in agronomy, life sciences, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Experience in agricultural research, seed tech, or plant breeding is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and experimental design principles.
• Ability to learn and operate precision agriculture hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the research program following Bayer HSE, Quality, Compliance and Ethics standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed experimental protocols for advancement decisions.
• Operate agronomy equipment (tractors, planters, drones) and collect/analyze data across growing seasons.
• Self-motivate, solve problems, and manage time and priorities effectively.
• Build networks across teams and communities, including growers and local leaders.
• Supervise seasonal staff to achieve trial objectives and data quality.
• Travel up to 15% and be willing to extended hours during peak seasons.
