Job summary

The Bowers Group – A Legence Company is seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager for field work in the DMV area, supporting construction projects including data centers, medical facilities, and federal buildings.

This in‑field role requires 2+ years of mechanical construction PM experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Visa sponsorship is not available. Salary range: $60,000–$130,000.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, and traverse different terrains.
• Data center project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in all aspects of the project.
• Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor.
• Write purchase orders for material and equipment as required.
• Manage RFI process.
• Manage submittal process and log.
• Attend client project meetings.
