Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking personnel to operate the Field Artillery Firefinder Radar and determine enemy locations. You will learn targeting techniques, communications, and radar maintenance while serving part-time with paid drill weekends.

Training includes Basic and Advanced Individual Training, with skills applicable to civilian careers in leadership, teamwork, and discipline. Earn while you learn with tuition assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain radio and wire communications.
• Construct bunkers and similar areas for field artillery.
• Maintain Firefinder radar with scheduled checkups.
