Job summary

ECORP Consulting is seeking a Field Archaeologist to support cultural resources projects throughout California. You will conduct monitoring, pedestrian surveys, excavation, site documentation, and other field investigations to help clients meet federal, state, and local cultural resource compliance requirements.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with project staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while contributing to timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
• Successful completion of an archaeological field school or field methods course from a US university.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological monitoring, surveys, site recording, excavation, and documentation.
• Prepare detailed field records and reports.
• Utilize GPS and field technology effectively.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for cultural resources.
