Job summary

ECORP Consulting, Inc. seeks field and monitoring archaeologists for projects across California, with offices in Rocklin, Chico, Fresno, Irvine, Redlands, or San Diego. Responsibilities include construction monitoring, pedestrian survey, site mapping, and recording field data.

Positions are temporary and on-call, wage based on education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Anthropology is required; Master’s degree holders earn higher starting wages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology or related field.
• Successful completion of an archaeological field school or field methods course at a US university.
• At least 1 year of full-time professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Construction monitoring on projects as required.
• Pedestrian survey and site mapping activities.
• Record field observations and maintain site documentation.
• Assist with excavation and other duties as assigned.
