Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks a Field Archaeologist—Flex for our Naperville, IL office. You will work on Phase I surveys, Phase II evaluations, and Phase III mitigation projects, with opportunities to travel across US regions.

You will be part of a team navigating regulatory requirements under the National Historic Preservation Act. The duration varies by project (1–7 days typical; some 20–30 days). This is an as-needed position, not eligible for corporate benefits.

Formación

• Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required or preferred.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• Experience in archaeology field methods or internships preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Phase I archaeological surveys on projects in Naperville, IL and other regions.
• Support Phase II evaluations and Phase III mitigation projects as needed.
